Welcome to the Fourth of July Lake Forest 5K Walk/Run Home Page. The 5K takes place each year in conjunction with the Lake Forest Fourth of July Parade celebrating our nation's independence. The challenging course flows through the tree-lined streets of the beautiful City of Lake Forest, CA. 1,384 runners participated in last year's 14th annual race. Please take a moment to view our web site for further information about our city and our event.

Help out our community and participate!

This event is sponsored by the City of Lake Forest and hosted by El Toro High School (ETHS) Education Boosters "Ed Boosters." All proceeds generated by the Fourth of July 5K Walk/Run benefit programs at ETHS. We support both the classroom and the campus where the needs are the greatest and where our support can touch as many of the student's lives as possible. Ed Boosters is a committee of the ETHS Parent Student Teacher Organization (PSTO). ETHS PSTO & Ed Boosters are 100% supported by volunteer members of the community. Our committee members include parents of current students and parents whose kids graduated long ago from ETHS.

This year we are also taking shoe donations for Women Helping Women/Men 2 Work. Bring your old men's or women's "interview appropriate" modern work type shoes for donation. (No running shoes or sandals). Empower people to achieve self sufficiency through employment success!
